what cause ACNE
1. Our pores on the skin are opened with the follicle, the follicle is generally made up of hair and sebaceous(oil) gland.
The oil gland releases oil where it is needed throughout the body, it helps to keep the skin lubricated and soft. That is the reason some people skin won’t dry easily as their oil gland is keeping them more moisturised.
Due to these certain reasons in most cases causes acne:
1.Too much oil is produced by glands
2. skin cells that are dead
3. bacteria in your pores
In simple words: Acne generally occurs when pores of your skin get blocked by oil produced by our glands, dead skin, or bacteria on face.
2.HORMONES: when you hit puberty, your body undergoes hormonal changes. These changes can trigger oil glands and lead to more production of oil than required.

1. Refined Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are like evil to your body when you don’t control it, taking of high level of refined sugar increases the risk of acne by 30%. They will not only attack your sugar level but your body too which is the factor that insulin controls.
Improper intake of high-level sugar and Carbohydrates increases the Insulin level which is not good for clear skin.
Food to take care of:
- Bread, crackers, cereal or desserts like pastries or cakes.
- Pasta made with white flour
- White rice and rice noodles
- Sodas and other sugar-sweetened beverages
- Sweeteners like unadulterated sweetener, maple syrup, nectar, or agave

2. FAST FOODS:
Your acne will directly be related to how much healthy you eat like most of us teenagers consume western-style food that is rich in fats, refined carbohydrates, and calories.
Fast food like burgers, fries, hot dogs or milkshakes, any food that is rich in fats, refined carbohydrates, and calories, if not taken care will lead to acne-prone skin.
Several studies showed that who consumes MORE FAST FOODS without taking care of diet will likely have chances of more than 43% of the risk to have acne.

3. FOODS RICH IN FATTY ACIDS LIKE OMEGA-6:
Diets that are rich in fatty acids like omega – 6 most of the WESTERN FAST FOODS Contains OMEGA-6, Fatty acids will have a higher risk of developing acne and inflammation.
Western Diets which are rich in soy oil and fats like Omega-6 and Omega-3 pushes the body to a level where the body starts to develop acne.
it is better to consume in the limit as regards of how much Carbs and fats are needed for the body as all Individuals have a different body, but food contains Omega-6 shows a promising response towards the increase in acne.
I know you must be wondering that’s stupid how can chocolate leads to Acne. But the relation between ACNE AND CHOCOLATE is since from the 19th century like form past 100 years there are researches showed that chocolate causes a high risk of acne
Recent Studies showed that who consumes 99% of dark chocolate daily can lead to an increase of acne after 1-2 weeks.
Another research showed that male who consumes 100% cocoa powder daily had more chance of acne-prone skin after just 1 week.
Though why chocolate consumption is causing acne is not clear yet, these are for sure that Chocolate increases the risk of Acne.
5. WHEY PROTEIN:
No doubt protein intake is one of the best things which you can do for your body. But most of us don’t know that overconsumption of protein intake can lead to several health issues in the long term which can be fatal as well as it causes acne too.
HOW MUCH PROTEIN YOU SHOULD TAKE.
On average, if an adult needs to know how much you want to take protein just multiply your body weight in KILOGRAMS with 0.8
FOR EXAMPLE: if your body weight is 70 kg (multiply it with 0.8) * 0.8 = 56 grams of protein on an average u must take daily.
But in case you are more physically active like you are going for the gym, swimming, or cycling, any athletes have to multiply it with 1.2 -1.4 grams of protein PER KG.
The presence of amino acids in protein can lead to a high level of insulin which directly increases the risk of pimples.
Overtaking of whey protein directly affects the liver and our body as it is the fastest absorbing protein so if you exceed the limit it will cause certain problems in future.

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES that cause acne:
Pillowcase is one of the things that will always be there by your side when you sleep it is like you spend more than 6 hours of your sleeping time on the pillow and if that pillowcase has some dirt Or it was oily ( when you oil your hair the oil will be on the pillow too as you sleep on it) than that all that stuff will be stuck on your face throughout the time.
Your Pillow and your towel are one of the primary reasons for acne.
So, it is always better to Change your pillowcases in at least 3 days and take care of your face.
2. CONSTANTLY TOUCHING YOUR FACE:
You don’t even notice that but when you touch your face You are transmitting all the bacteria or dirt from your fingers to your face, it is like you are inviting acne for your own. You should take care of how much you frequently touch your face and minimise it as much as possible.
3. NOT TAKING SHOWERS AFTER YOU HIT THE GYM.
You know that oily skin is one of the most important factors to consider if you are dealing with acne. So the thing when you hit the gym your body produces lots of sweat and oil during the action, so it is important to take baths with antibacterial soaps after hitting the gym so that you can feel refreshed and acne-free.
4. DON’T OVERDO WASHING OF FACEBUY FROM AMAZON
Once in a lifetime, we all had to face with acne but all we do is RUB & RUB our faces, so hard that it causes a breakout of the acne with making our skin drier which in turns our skin to produce oil for our face which again leads to more acne.
As you know when acne breaks out it releases some kind of water which if touches any other area of face LEAD to increase more acne.
So, it is better to take care of your face by not OVERDOING IT.
5. NOT USING THE RIGHT PRODUCT:
As there are 5 different types of skin- NORMAL, OILY, DRY, COMBINATION AND SENSITIVE. So, it is hard to pick the right product for your skin type to tackle with acnes. It is better to pick up the products that will choose your skin type and increase the chances of fighting with acne

6. DON’T POP YOUR ACNE WITH DIRTY HANDS:
If you pop your zits with the dirty hand that wound will be open and with dirty handy you are inviting bacteria back into your area that will cause more acne in future without even fixing the one zit that you are popping.
7. NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER
Less intake of water not only cause dehydration but also several acne breakouts in your skin, as dry skin usually lead your oil glands to produce more oil and in regards of that they produce excess oil which significantly causes acne.
SO BE HYDRATED IT WILL NOT ONLY MAKE YOUR SKIN CLEAR BUT ACNE FREE TOO.

PREVENTION OF ACNE:
- PROPERLY WASH YOUR FACE: Properly wash your face with a good face wash that suits your skin type.
- TAKE CARE OF YOUR T ZONE: T – Zone is the oiliest areas on face like chin, nose, and forehead on your face. So, wipe out the excess oil with a handkerchief to remove oils from your T- Zone.
- DON’T DO HARSH SCRUBBING
- AVOID PRODUCTS THAT CAN MAKE YOUR SKIN OILY
- USE FACE PRODUCTS THAT DON’T BREAK YOUR FACE: Don’t use cheap products as they will be containing harmful chemicals and they are heavier than high-end products.
